Getbhavcopy is a historical end of day stock quotes downloader for NSE (National Stock Exchange), India. It downloads Open, High, Low, Close and Volume for each equity traded on NSE. The data is downloaded in txt format. Such that it can be directly imported in Metastock for technical analysis. The data is authentic as Getbhavcopy downloads it directly from NSE servers. Apart from this it also downloads data for major indices.

• Please do not use version 1.2 or 1.3 which have the date bug.
• This version fixes the issue where you could not change the date higher than 30 Jun 2008 or 2 Jul 2008 caused by Visual Studio.
• This version fixes the "The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found." issue caused because NSE changed the way they name the indices historical data files.
