Configuring PPPOE internet connection on Linux.

In this step by step turotial, I will explain how to setup a ethernet(LAN) connection in linux. Once done, we will setup PPPOE based internet connection over the ethernet we setup earlier. I have taken the example of Tata Indicom (VSNL) broadband connection for this tutorial. However the steps are applicable for any PPPOE based internet service.
